  • why does this game have such a killer soundtrack? It sounds like it should be in a Final Fantasy game or something. Regardless, hats off to whoever composed it.

  • 1:13, 1:17, 1:21, 1:24 and 1:26: Basic Rules. The concept of the game is to try to capture the cubes.
    1:54, 1:58, 1:59 and 2:01: First mark the spot where a cube should be captured. When the cube is about to land the marked spot, press the X (Cross) button.
    2:03, 2:05 and 2:09: The marked spot is then deactivated and the cube is captured. Repeat this to capture all the necessary cubes.
    2:19: If any cubes are left to fall off the stage, (2:23) the number of fallen cubes will be calculated on the block scale.
    2:26: Every time the number of fallen cubes exceeds that of a block scale… (2:31) the player loses the last row of the stage.
    2:38: The player must prevent the cubes from falling off the stage.
    2:51 and 2:55: When the player is avalanched by the cubes and falls off the stage, it’s GAME OVER.
    2:59: Mission failed!
    3:07: I.Q. is measured against the player’s efficiency in capturing the cubes as well as the total number of cubes captured.
    3:29 and 3:34: Forbidden Cube. Not all of the cubes should be captured.
    3:51: For every forbidden cube captured… (3:55) the player will lose the final row of the stage. (4:03) Let the forbidden cubes pass by and fall off the stage.
    4:31: Advantage Cube. (4:36) The player can use the green cubes or the advantage cubes to efficiently capture the cubes.
    5:27: But at the same time, (5:29) the player must make sure that no forbidden cube is included in marked area.
    Capture the normal cubes without letting any of them falling off the stage, but use advantage cubes correctly. Don’t capture any forbidden cubes, or you’ll lose the last row of the stage every time. If you fall of the stage, it’s the end.
    5:57, 5:58, 5:59, 6:02 and 6:04: Begin capturing the cubes! (6:09) (29:57, 29:59 and 30:04)
    6:37: ALL CLEAR! (9:39 and 1:11:03)
    9:42: Stage cleared! (1:11:06)
    1:07:14: Final Stage. (1:11:43) (1:11:32)

  • Youre the first person ive seen correctly refer to the first generation playstation as psx in 20 yrs. Its like ever since the psone came out, everyone switched x to 1…i know I'm late, i just had a really fucking random thought about this game and remembered how much I loved it when it came out

  • After having played the demo with no music when I was little, I could do without the soundtrack lol. Takes away from the ominous characteristic of the gameplay

  • I first played this as a child years ago on the PlayStation Jampack demo cd along with Nightmare Creatures.

  • I use to play this on demo, but without the music. I was so dramatic whenever I died, it took awhile for me to grasp the concept at like 7 years old.
