I’ve had mine for a year now and It’s the best player I’ve had. Forget that it has no video or bluetooth music transfer. Put in a 256gb SD card, fill it up with your favourite music and away you go. Thoroughly recommended. Hi Res sounds fantastic on it.
I like my walkman a lot. Not perfect. Sony's software music center for pc is a pile of crap though

How to transfer iMac iTunes to SD card to to play on this device
Hi, nice video….I've bought one NW-A45….but, I can't find software to convert/upload the iTunes music to the NW-A45. Is there a simple software package out there?
When I transfer ALAC files from iTunes to the I get “Unknown artist” and "Unknown album" on certain files, while others are ok and work perfectly. The files also have 01 in front of the name. Anyone else have this problem?

Sony needs to get with the times and stop with the proprietary stuff. I didn't buy this literally because of the proprietary cable and software. Instead I bought (basically) a 32gb flash drive with 3.5mm headphone jack for $21. Audio is just fine.
The only problem with this is you can't create playlists file without using a computer but you can add and delete from existing playlists
